A family built on two wheels
Bruce Barrett opened Hooligan Cycles in 2011 — named for his three boys, the “Little Hooligans.” Not a franchise. A family shop where riders get straight talk, honest pricing and the best wrenches in Middle Tennessee.

What services does Hooligan Cycles offer for Harley-Davidson motorcycles?
Milwaukee-Eight and Twin Cam performance engine builds (big bores, S&S cam upgrades, head porting), Öhlins and Legends suspension setup, custom handlebars and controls, Metzeler and Dunlop tire mounting and wheel upgrades, Galfer brake upgrades, general Harley-Davidson maintenance (oil changes, brakes, belts, electrical), and full custom builds with Power Vision and Dynojet tuning.

We're at 9330 Franklin Rd, Murfreesboro, TN 37128, and serve riders from Murfreesboro, Nashville, Smyrna, Franklin and all of Middle Tennessee.
What are your hours?
Tuesday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We're closed Sunday and Monday.

Is Hooligan Cycles a Harley-Davidson dealer?
We're a family-owned, independent Harley-Davidson specialist — not a franchise. We focus on pre-owned Harley-Davidson sales, service and custom builds, and our two master technicians are MMI-trained with decades of H-D experience.
What cam should I put in my Milwaukee-Eight?
For touring riders we usually recommend the S&S 475C or 465C for more highway pull without losing low-end torque. For performance builds, the S&S 550 or 592 paired with a Bassani 2-into-1 and a Power Vision dyno tune makes big gains. Every cam install here includes a tensioner inspection, new gaskets and a custom dyno tune.
